About the Journal
H0 Journal publishes original scholarship across the full breadth of psychology and behavioral science. Our editorial focus is methodological quality and transparency of reporting. We are discipline-inclusive: submissions from clinical, experimental, developmental, social, cognitive, neuropsychological, and applied behavioral science traditions are equally welcome, provided they meet our standards for rigor.
We place particular emphasis on the following:
-
Studies with null, negative, or inconclusive findings that are methodologically sound
-
Pre-registered studies and Registered Reports, in which hypotheses and analytical plans are documented prior to data collection
-
High-quality replication studies, including both successful and failed replications
-
Methodological and statistical contributions that advance research design or analytical practice in psychology
-
Systematic reviews and meta-analyses conducted in accordance with PRISMA or equivalent reporting standards
H0 Journal does not evaluate manuscripts on the basis of whether results are statistically significant, novel, or confirmatory. Effect size, directionality, and p-values are reported transparently—they are not criteria for acceptance.
